My name is Caitlin Meleski and I am a freelance graphic designer from Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. I started doing graphic design about six years ago after I graduated high school and studied at SUN Area Technical Institute’s Advertising Art and Design program for one year. It was there I first learned hands-on how to use Adobe™’s programs like Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. I have received many commendations for my work and graduated SUN Tech with the second-highest GPA in the class. Of course, I couldn’t rely on what I learned at SUN Tech alone so that following semester I started classes at Susquehanna University as a graphic design major to improve my skills and eventually earn my Bachelor of Arts degree.
My previous credentials that helped my graphic design experience include creating multiple poster layouts for theatrical events, designing different logo designs for my university’s academic achievement center, and taking on assignment after assignment from my graphic design classes. Sometimes I tend to do all three of those tasks at the same time while maintaining a perfectly balanced schedule; in other words, I can handle multi-tasking as I am organized and motivated. Aside from using programs from Adobe™, I am very experienced in Microsoft™ programs like Word and PowerPoint. I also create my own PowerPoint presentations using templates I create in either Illustrator or Photoshop to add originality and creative presence to the presentation. I am very flexible when it comes to tight scheduling and I am willing to work overtime if necessary.
